*CAN WE TAKE PICTURES OF FOOD?*

Caller: One of our Dharma friends would like to know whether we are allowed to take pictures of food that we consume.

Master Jun Hong Lu: There is no issue if the food is vegetarian. However, its best not to take pictures of food derived from animals. For example, if you take pictures of dishes like roast suckling pig or duck platter, the foreign spirits will be captured and will be tagged with you.

Caller: That is to say, we can only take picture of vegetarian food?

Master Jun Hong Lu:
You may as long as it’s vegetarian food. For non-vegetarian food, you cannot do so. It is good that you raised this question. Otherwise, I will not mention it as it is likely to slip my mind. If you have observed, there are many ignorant people who keep snapping pictures of non-vegetarian dishes served at wedding banquets. When they returned home, these people would quarrel and would be down on their luck. This is because the images captured in the photos have souls in them.

Caller: Is this similar to the concept of imprinting pictures on our clothing

Master Jun Hong Lu: Yes.

*A DROP OF WATER*

Someone asked Lord Buddha, “As human, how do we prevent our single drop of water from ever drying up, especially when it tends to evaporate even more rapidly under the sun”. Lord Buddha replied, “To prevent this drop of water from drying up, we will have to put it into the river, lake or sea”. Similarly, when we are able to unite our heart with those of sentient beings’, we are able to rise above lives’ many obstacles and resolve its many grievances.

*WILL FOREIGN SPIRITS ENTER A CAR WHICH HAS BEEN LEFT UN-DRIVEN IN THE BASEMENT GARAGE FOR A LONG TIME? FOREIGN SPIRITS ARE MORE LIKELY TO ENTER THINGS THAT ARE STATIC*

Caller: Master, please enlighten us. If a car has been parked in the basement garage for a long time, will spirits enter this un-driven car?

Master Jun Hong Lu: It is possible. But it will all depends. It is alright if there are several cars parked together, but a lone car parked there for a long period may attract foreign spirits to enter it.

Caller: Oh, what should we do then?

Master Jun Hong Lu: Start the engines every now and then and try to drive it whenever possible.

Caller: How often should this be done?

Master Jun Hong Lu: Start the engines once a week. Move everything once in a while because spirits will enter anything that is left static.

*A PERSON WITH GOOD FORTUNE HAS A FOREHEAD THAT GLOWS*

The hair on the forehead is to be combed to the back or the sides, as the center of a person’s forehead must appear full. A lot of people who are down in their luck have hair that covers their entire foreheads. Take a look at those lucky people, their foreheads are always exposed without hair on them and are always glowing. Otherwise, how would you expect to be lucky? Remember that this has been the case since time immemorial. Lucky people have foreheads that glow, whereas, those unlucky ones, have this part of their face covered.
“A full forehead and a perfect jawline” - a person with this look will have all things going smoothly for him.

*DHARMA PROTECTORS WILL NOT STAY AWAY FROM PROTECTING THOSE WHO ARE NON-VEGETARIAN DURING DHARMA PROPAGATION*

Caller: Master Lu, some Dharma practitioners who are non-vegetarian would join our propagation activities. However, they will certainly be on full vegetarian diets on the day of propagation. Then, with non-vegetarians among us during propagation, will it pose any difficulty for the Dharma Protectors to protect us?

Master Jun Hong Lu: You meant whether you will be excluded from their protection? No, you won't. As long as you are propagating Dharma teachings, the Dharma Protectors will protect all of you alike.
