When one has Zen within their heart, they can practise Zen anywhere.
When one has the Buddha in their heart, they see Buddha Dharma in everything.

*MIGHTY OAKS FROM LITTLE ACORNS GROW*

Master Jun Hong Lu: Performing prostrations in Guan Yin Hall may look trivial but, in reality such an act could protect and bless you, your family, and even whomever you think may deserve it.

If you perform prostrations and pray sincerely to Bodhisattva, your wish will be fulfilled.

The minute seeds you sow – for instance, by lighting the oil lamp today, you can avert having your eyes gone under the knife or developed cataracts; if you prostrate sincerely today, your family can stave off a myriad of potential calamities. This goes to show that the seemingly inconsequential seeds of ‘cause’ may have a disproportionately large after-effect.

My deepest gratitude to Sakya Murni Buddha,
My deepest gratitude to Guan Yin Bodhisattva
My deepest gratitude to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and Dharma Protectors,
My deepest gratitude to Master Lu Jun Hong,

Hi Shi xiong men,

I would like to share how Fotuo and Guan Shi Yin Pusa appeared in the sky and how Bai hua fo fa made me feel lighter.

I was hospitalised at IJN last Monday 3rd March 2023 due to a new medicine which caused hypoglycemia.

I refused to be admitted but there was no other choice as they have to run tests for 3 days.

Was kept in the emergency ward until 10pm on the first day and on the second day, I was feeling very uncomfortable. I called Mei Foong Shi xiong but she was working and could not answer my call. Then I tried calling Ken Eng Shi xiong and he advised me to read Bai hua fo fa non stop.

After completing one chapter of Bai hua fo fa, I felt lighter n could get up to walk.about in the room. If not, I was feeling frightened, uncomfortable and down. I immediately could feel the change in the energy in me.

Then I was asked to change room to be nearer the nurses' station as I was considered a high risk case.

As I moved to the other room, I pulled a chair to the window so I could read Bai hua fofa again, there I saw Fotuo on a lotus and Guan Shi Yin Pusa nearby. I knew I was in good hands and I prayed. That night I had wires all over me to monitor my heart and my blood pressure was high.

But next morning, everything was back to normal, and after the group of doctors visited me, I was told I could be discharged. It was exactly what I prayed for.

Fotuo and Pusa are ever compassionate. Bai Hua Fo Fa is ever so powerful.

If my sharing is inappropriate, I seek the forgiveness of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Dharma Protectors and Master Lu.

Gan en Shi xiong men

AS HUMANS

We should,
give in to others when situations favour us,

give ground to others when we are right,

and not to ridicule others when we are capable.

This is because,

a shrewd person will be disliked;

a fussy person will be loathed and

a conceited person will be hated.
🌈 *IT IS ESSENTIAL TO LEARN BUDDHIST TEACHINGS IN DEPTH IN THIS AGE OF DHARMA DECLINE*

Caller:
Recently, we have been watching the video clips of Buddhism in Plain Terms lectures and realise that Master’s discourses are much more in depth compared to before. Is this because Bodhisattva and Master have increased expectations of us? Can Master elaborate on this?

Master Jun Hong Lu:
In this Age of Dharma Decline, you must learn Buddhism in an in depth manner, you can’t say you don’t understand the teachings nor merely keep saying “perform all good deeds and do no evils”; this is only a principle. However, the key point is, you have to start comprehending the Buddha’s teachings.

Caller:
I see, thank you Master Lu. Now we must elevate our understanding of the teachings and catch up with Master’s pace.

Master Jun Hong Lu:
Yes, that’s great.

Everything is impermanent, whether pleasant or unpleasant. It will not last long, so we must be able to let go when it is time to do so.

*Stay True to Our Initial Aspiration / Beginner’s Mind (初始心) - Part 3*

Master Lu once said, *“The spiritual path to enlightenment is riddled with afflictions and obstacles. It takes the mind to overcome whatever hardship or calamity that comes our way”*.

Most of us yearn to push our boundaries or pivot our spiritual journey to the next level. But, there are bound to be a slew of internal and external hindrances thwarting our effort, causing us to lose sight of our goals and instead of making progress, we end up stagnating or regressing.

To avoid the potential pitfalls and to smoothen your spiritual cultivation journey, please click on the link below to find out a host of relevant discourses of Master Lu:

As Buddhist practitioners, we must ask ourselves whether what we are doing is appropriate and whether what we are saying is of any help to others. This is what we call having ‘the potential for awakening'.
