BAT can raise prices of cigarettes as well as venture into new markets to offset volume decline but not Tien Wah and New Toyo...
As cigarette volumes continue to decline in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, etc, Tien Wah and New Toyo's revenue and profit will definitely be impacted. Cigarrette makers will continue to make money but not cigarette printers.. this is the biggest difference!
Once the investors realize this, they will start dumping once they see thru all these smokescreens

Tien Wah boomed with another 700 lots transacted today... If Tien Wah's result is going to be like Sh**, I dont think anyone in his/her right frame of mind will buy in such great volumes these few days, ahead of Q3 results in Nov
Stockerman said investors have been mis-led by nice articles on New Toyo such as the one in Nextinsight.
The writer of the Nextinsight article worked out the amount of cash that New Toyo would have following the receipt of money from Shanghai Asia, and expressed hope for another round of special dividend.
In many of his posts, Stockerman warned about the decline of New Toyo share price --- his recent one on 14 Oct 13 suggested that 20-25 cents.
As the share price is still around 29 cents. Can we then say that investors are mis-led by Stokerman?
