Same reason as Warren Buffett liquidated his partnership and returned all monies to shareholders in 1969 Big Grin

Plus the LATENT "12.5 cents from SAH" Smile

you can continue to dream, but the 12.5 cents are never going to be yours.

One of the key reasons why I like to hear out other people's views in this forum is that I can see why people have so many misperceptions of this company...

Good Good Cool

If company cannot even earn enough ROTA to cover WACC, i think they would have closed shop long time ago...haha

Massive selling of Tien Wah in the recent weeks....today more than 350 lots dumped!
considering that Tien Wah only has about 100mil shares in total, 350 lots are really a lot...

Something bad might be brewing....??
Will the massive sell-off of Tien Wah spill over onto New Toyo?
If Tien Wah is a cashcow, why would the Armed forces be paring down its stake?

Only those people who have insider information on Tien Wah will know. If something bad is happening in Tien Wah, it'll definitely affect New Toyo's price adversely. As it is, the price of New Toyo is down to 26 cents, with few buyers!

New Toyo has already lost 1/3 of its revenue/profit from the asset sales of SAH (Cash Cow 1). If anything untoward happens to Tien Wah (Cash Cow 2) , rest assured that this will deal a fatal blow to New Toyo.

it will practically be left with nothing, but some rotten specialty paper business with low profit margin and investment property with super low profit margin..

Those with low risk appetite should just sell off now...

Dont be fooled by the 12.5 cents of SAH money.
The NAV is only about 36 cents and the share price is 26 cents, not that deeply discounted.

If any of the 12.5 cents is distributed out as special dividends, the NAV will be reduced accordingly.

Yes, paying out special dividends from its own NAV is self-depreciating...
Investors need to buy this counter with eyes wide open.

Agreed that current share price of 26 cents is not so deeply discounted compared to NAV of 36 cents which will be further reduced accordingly with any cash distribution.

36 cents NAV can be taken as the cap limiting further upside potential ...
