i really pity the original SAH equity holders....just imagine how much of the original sum of money has been withered away....
many of them still clinged onto SAH, thinking that a good deal might emerge....
there is no need for Shareholders of New Toyo to cheer about...

The special dividends (if any) will be DEDUCTED from the existing NAV...
Paying off the special dividends will simply reduce the NAV of New Toyo and hence, share price should DROP and not INCREASE!

SAH = 9.73 cts cap reduction

i am so happy now...huat ah!!!
dun quite understand the announcement - it says some cash distribution already given before 31 aug 2012, is it true?
is it true that post nta is gg to be just 2.2 cents?

sala - remaining nta = 0.22 cents but already earmarked to meet all sort of expenses at SAH

Basically, they are flagging the shell for RTO - you can have it for a song so long as you have a plan.

No need to be so excited as money is yours for a start - frankly the directors should be questioned for dragging their feet and collect free money for doing nothing to add values to SAH suffering shareholders.
Until I see any money coming from New Toyo, I will stick my cautious stance on New Toyo.

Despite being a key player for a defensive consumer industry, New Toyo has never failed to disappoint for negative surprises since its listing in 1997.
what kinda negative surprises R U expecting?
no for me to speculate but for the management of the company to show us where they intend to lead this company to. Anyway, the saga with SAH has finally closed after a listing that is supposed to spearhead New Toyo's growth into China - that largest consumer market in the world. 9 years of nothing really

U were vested with sah for 9 years? I didn't knowmuch about it.
Luckily only left with 500 shares after owning more than 0.5m in a penny stock post the listing hype back in 2004. Decisively chopped after management failed to live up to expectations at maiden results.

After paring down its debt, New Toyo would probably use the cash to invest in new businessess...

Dont think any special dividends will be paid out at all to shareholders...

pare down debt to zero...and looking forward to the proposed ye 0.9 cent dividend..nice
while for sah side, they are closing shop soon...sob sob
Chinese partners at SAH basically took the sporean investors for a long long ride...earned enough and then got ride of spore investors..

Company was sold off far too cheaply to its own kind in CHina...
