mmm... too late.
Someone put in at 30 cents already.
Still zero bids all the way down from 30.5 cents...

No bids at all!

Not real bids - the 6 lots at 30 cents...
no other bids below 30 cents?

Another "fake" bid of 6 lots at 30 cents this morning...

No real buying bids ..
The remaining $30mil from SAH will be in New Toyo's pocket probably by the end of June and SAH will be fully wound down and delisted.

This will bring New Toyo cash level to at least 15 cents or 50% of current market value Smile
Of course, this cash level is set to continue rising with very strong and stable cashflow from tobacco printing/packaging and growth of new markets in the developing countries.
[Net operating cashflow is approx $40mil per annum]

Special dividends would probably be declared together with the half-yearly results and regular interim dividend in August. Let's wait and see if this pans out Smile

The special dividend will be very timely, given that the general market has corrected quite a bit in recent days Smile

Guys you have got me interested in New Toyo Big Grin
I will go look at the financials and see if i wanna touch this "full of cash fella" Big Grin
The cash payment from SAH to New Toyo is 28 June Smile

The crown jewel of New Toyo is Tien Wah. I would suggest that you go thru Tien Wah accounts too.
it is listed in KLSE. It has gone up from $2(RM) in early part of year to $2.50(RM) - all time high.

Thanks for the info on Tien WAh, but I do not like all time highs as they often point towards a future massive downtrend due to overvaluation Big Grin

Actually you may have forgot there is still ~13.5% of market cap is debt, about half short about half long term debt... so effectively after payment from SAH sale, you are only ~50%-13.5% = ~36.5% net cash

Which is not as good as 50% but nevertheless a nice fat amount Big Grin

For me the current cash flow is a big plus...

but dividends still slightly less compared to some other net cash company i have on my list Big Grin

Does New Toyo have history of rewarding minority shareholder with bonus dividend?
NAV of Tien Wah has improved as well.
the current share price is probably abt 10% above NAV.
I think Tien Wah will hit $3(RM) by year end.

But do remember that Tien Wah's NAV is understated. All the properties/investment properties are still recorded at book value Smile

Some parcels are in Petaling Jaya Section 13 - slated to be the next "Orchard Road" of KL. ..haha
