Before the sgx 100 shares came in, I have noticed the frequent 1 lot sell down. From my monitoring, this has been going on for 5 months. I do not know who is involved, but we can only gleam on which party is involved when comparing this year's annual report against last year's shareholding

Does any one know when Penguin announces its results??
Next week the full year results will be released. I don't think we will see a 1.5 to 2 cents dividend because this is a very conservative management. They wont do anything drastic but likely increase the dividend from 0.5 to 1 cents. If the mgmt gives anything more than a 30% payout, I will be very surprised

I will be trying to accumulate more at 0.215 as usual. My valuation of 45 cents for this stock still stands in spite of the low oil price, but dosen't mean I will sell only at 0.45 as I have to evaluate the MOS provided by other stocks

Petrol boat is like police petrol car, which uses commercially available car e.g. BMW, with post-sale enhancement, rather than custom-made

So do they own the technology like BMW or they just integrate some other companies' technology. Their AR mentioned R&D, so do they own patents? Thanks.

I reckon Penguin is focus more on the "D" in the R&D. Big Grin

Penguin has consistently introduced new boat design, which either completing the product offering, or improved the existing product.

It looks to me that they rely on BMT Nigel Gee for design expertise. This company is described as a Design Partner in the AR. For more information on what they do: http://www.bmtng.com/

First of all, it is co-designing, rather than sub-contracting to BMT.

Next, the design partner isn't on all projects and it is a newly engaged design partner. One of the evidence is, the BMT appeared only in 2013 AR, but not in all previous ARs. The partnership is only on Flex-25, and a new design project.

Yes, priority must be right. My weekend's priority is always the family, especially the little girl

It is good that the girl started her interest on value investing (i.e. VB), ha ha...Big Grin
my one also like to bang on keyboard and Mouse (Logitech M235 very tahan drop on floor few times a day) every chance she gets.

Looks like some manipulation of sell queue at .225? keep seeing 1 lot transaction which is pretty ridiculous. Brokerage must be getting lots of fees.

Hi CY09,

Just wondering, since your valuation is 45cents, why are you only accumulate at 0.215? Even at 0.225, you still have a big MOS.

(Apologize if my question seems dumb... I not much of a value investor to understand the MOS thingy...)
Hi NTL,

About every 3 months, I am only able to create 1 bullet; therefore I will always keep a spare bullet in my pocket to wait for the biggest Penguin to appear. Upon pulling the trigger on the biggest penguin, I will be out of bullets and either I have to wait for a new bullet or I have to sell other holdings to earn an extra bullet to snipe again. This is where the T+2 method is important because I have 2 days to raise funds

Normally if i am able to create a new bullet but have not fired the previous, I will just pull the trigger and take down the penguin of the day. Another factor to consider is portfolio concentrations which I am getting a lot of feedback for collecting too much Penguins

*1 bullet = $9,000
