Ai yah, if u having a headache why don't u sell just a bit of the shares to buy some panadol? Control penguin like a kite. Let go bit by bit. U don't want to totally cut off the string and it might never return to ground. I still have quite a bit of string in my hand. Will slowly let go when the wind blows strongly again.
the best sell strategy for me which works all the time:
sell to your SLEEPING point.

nothing beats a good night sleep.

Yawn Yawn.

Focusing too much on the trend of market price, is harmful to your overall performance, and mentally more stressful too, IMO.

Focusing on IV is less stressful, and yet more likely of higher profitability.

Thanks all for your kind advice. Think I will follow my TA reading
Resistance:$0.205
Next target: $0.265
If $0.2/0.205 holds, I will carry on holding it.
Sorry for gng against the belief of this forum, as a mixture of TA & FA readings had serve me very well over the years.
Actually have been slowly averaging up...

Selling the last batch for 100 pct gain in a year. Amazing run
With a current market cap of only $132.0m (660.518m shares x $0.20), there must be parties out there thinking about whether to buy up the whole of Penguin's business to capitalise on its near-term rapid growth and longer term steady earnings growth from its growing charter fleet, backed by continued strong and sustainable offshore O&G activities in its markets of Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East, and Africa.
My curiosity is stirred when i start to see VBs starting to sell their stake in Penguin. Is this stock overvalued or is the upside limited from here on?

Based on PE and PB alone, i struggle to see how this business with a solid b/s and decent margins is overvalued. In fact, my sense from reading up on this business seems to point that the turnaround is only just beginning. As such, even given the recent runup in share price, has Mr Market fully priced in the growth potential of this business? Should (early) investors be in a hurry to offload their stake in this growing business? Certainly something to mull over. Just wondering. Not a buy or sell call.

Citing confidential information and extreme competitiveness in the industry, the CEO was unable to share much of the company's forward business forecast, etc. But things to note...the shipyard is full of activities, capacity is increasing both in singapore and batam, etc...so i guess it's safe to assume that penguin is growing from strength to strength. No commitment was given to increase dividend payout as of now, however Buffet lunch was in abundance...

i still have faith in their business execution strategy, so lets continue to watch.

Vested.

I have attended the meeting too, and as you said, the board is not able to disclose sensitive information for fear of competiton, and certainly the board cannot make forward projection. However, if you pay close attention to what they said (eg: we are in a sweet spot), you will know that they are pretty confident about the future. One key point to note: the expansion plan is ongoing as planned, the capax is not significant but the capacity is or will be expanded quite significantly IMO. With the high cash level, I am looking forward to them raising the dividends payout this year. I walked away from the meeting feeling both confident and comfortable holding on to my stake.
Though penguin has run up quite a lot in percentage recently, however I strongly agreed with Ben on holding onto the stake. Shipbuilding being a capital intensive industry and the way Penguin has expanded its capacity with manageable capex, to cope with the demand of the sweet spot that she is in, just illustrates how careful and diligent that the management is. This all the more provided me with more confidence in this marvellous team. Bearing in mind that current management does take care of its shareholders by giving dividend while retaining large part for in house growth. I notice most of the time such company will eventually be taken over by some private equity/companies. I certainly hope this will not happen to Penguin as most of the time, price offer is not that good. Eg Adampak.
With such a low PE, high ROE, ROA and most important of all, cash generating, certainly there would be more upside in the near future when Mr Market realizes this gem

Sometimes its easy said than done especially when u have a large stake in the company. Assuming YZJ price rose to $2 by end of this month with the same current fundamental performance and I understand YZJ is your largest holding currently. Will you do nothing about it?

Like I said I sold all my Boustead shares but I kept my wife's portion. Hers is a miserable 5 lots hence I can ignore the price noise even though its PE and PB is at historical high now.
