I bought at 8 cts, now think if when to run rd?

It is a growth stock, which means no "run road", as long as the story remains intact. I don't want to miss a multibagger. Big Grin
At current price its PB is above 1 and PE is 7.5+. Nam Cheong PE is ~8.2+. So maybe still got some room to go. But I am also mindful that its a small company in a cyclical business. I have took some profits previously and now hand quite itchy to take some more whenever I look at the substantial paper gain in my portfolio.
Nam cheong is trading at pe 9.5 dvd yield at 1.4% nav at 2 according to share investor......If u compare with nam cheong fair value should be about 30 cent lol

Hello fellow penguin passengers I am vested also since around August 2013. What I feel is lacking before penguin fly to outer space is another dvd to be declared in 2nd quarter I secretly hoping.....let watch for 1st quarter results first.

If Mr Market do revalue the company to a PE of 10, the price will only be 25c, far from 30c. To me this is a "growth" stock so as long as we see good growth in top and bottom line of the company, I am fine if the company decides not to increase the dividend if they can put the money into better use for their business.

Agreed...I am very sure the company will utilise the cash prudently. Cash is king in the face of rising interest rate. Mr market will continue to value Penguin accordingly as long top and bottom line show strong growth. Just note PE is a lagging indicator.....

Friday, are you referring to OSV shipbuilding and chartering? My impression is 8-10 average.

I don't think this sector average is a good gauge since it is greatly affected by Cosco, one of its constituents, which is priced at 50x earnings. Thus, you see a sector p/e of 20.

The rest of the companies in here are trading at a P/E ratio between 6-12, which imo is more reasonable.

Indeed. Best to remove outliers.
