This case is difference compare with previous one.
The previous one does not has impact on essential service i.e. public transport, but this one does, even though it is a mild one.

This will set a case for future inducstrial actions for foreigners especially from strong countries. Definitely does not apply to Sporeans.
Actually it made me feel like a third class citizen, PR first, then foreign workers then citizens. They can don't play by the rules and get away with industrial dispute, while we are told illegal gathering is not allowed. If FT go on strike it is called "industrial action" and regarded as a company dispute but if citizens do it is called an illegal assembly - i learn something new today

skipped work for a second day after a wage dispute, in a rare public display of industrial discord in the island nation.
About 60 bus drivers didn’t turn up for work this morning, some with valid medical reasons, SMRT, Singapore’s biggest subway operator that also runs bus services, said in an e-mailed statement. SMRT said yesterday that 102 of its drivers, all from China, didn’t report for duty.
“We continue to keep our communications open with the service leaders,” SMRT said, referring to the drivers. The company is “also working with the relevant authorities to find an amicable resolution,” it said.

PRCS know they are being worshiped , so they just take law into their own hand, authority also can't do much to them.
I think our Government has to really look at this issue seriously and take firm action on this. If this is not handled properly, it could be just the start of a series of new "social problem" associated with FT. Such actions affects the way of life of ordinary citizen/resident. And if they escalate to a bigger scale, I cannot imagine what it will be like, with strikes, oops, I meant "industrial actions" seen every now and then. Eventually we could see a whole transport system coming to a standstill, just like what we have seen in some of the Western countries.
I do not think we want to encourage such behavior in little peaceful Singapore.

ER.....???.. It's not we don't want to apply Singapore laws to them; it's because they are FTs not Sink aporeans. So how to? Besides these Fts come from very "BIG BROTHER BIG" country. Little RED DOT could not afford to embarrass "BIG BROTHER BIG". Or else...... Little RED DOT may just disappear from "BIG BROTHER BIG's" memory. The worst case may be from history.
BIG BROTHER or not, we need to send a message that taking laws into own hands is not allowed in small little red dot. Don't forget, those FT drivers from SBS is probably at the sideline waiting to see what is the outcome, and may decided to join in the protest if there is no strong message from the authority. And those FT in so many other industries may also join in too. End of the day, FT is still FT, their main objective is $$$$$, even though a small minority may differ, like the nurse mentioned by LSH during national day rally speech.

If all other FTs from other countries also join in then Singapore really become SINK apore lol. Then Singaporeans may be become more valuable again if ever Sink apore can recover.
Right now, the message in the news is only an "Industry Disputes" lol. i just wonder if Sink aporeans replace the FTs as "protesters" whether it will still be considered an industry dispute or illegal strike? Illegal strike is a jailable offense. i bet it will be the latter.
