Very smart move by Pollux Properties.

I think if they could convince people based on the valuations of district 15, they should secure sales for their developments. Irregardless, there is no harm in attending this event to add on your knowledge of property market.

But the release of this event came very late?

I believed they planned this event mostly based on "Invitation" sent to the potential investors/buyers. Informing the public is just to cast the net wider to rope in more potential buyers.

I don't quite understand why would Mr Nico Po get two independent directors of policing background? Both had no directorship experience.

What are the possible value add?

The Board comprises the following members:

Timur Pradopo (Non-Executive Chairman)
Nico Purnomo Po (Executive Director)
Tan Kay Kiang (Non-Executive Director)
Low Chai Chong (Lead Independent Director)
Koh Teng Kiat (Independent Director)
Bambang Widaryatmo (Independent Director)

Timur Pradopo, aged 58, previous post as Chief of Indonesia National Police. With a humble beginning, he steadily rose through the ranks. He's made into non-executive chairman? Familiar with West Java, Jakarta.

Bambang Widaryatmo, aged 69, previous post as Chief of East Kalimantan Region Police. He's familiar with East Kalimantan and East Java.

Nonetheless, I am pleased they've strengthen their Board of Directors (BOD) with them.

Sometime in business, it is not about who you are, but who you know. It is wise of Nico to tap on the wide links and connection of the two veterans.

Volmax, why 2 ex Indon police chiefs in the director list? Maybe this is really a prelude to RTO? Otherwise why Indon police personnel in a small Singapore company?
relevationofpyramids, Mr Nico Po wouldn't get starred-generals to be on board of directors for no reasons. I've shared with Volmax. Pollux Properties is a small developer in Singapore's scene. There must be something brewing.

Liquidity is very tight in the past, currently, and foreseeable future. But there appears to be someone buying up lots in Pollux Properties. Wonder who that might be. One needs to have a good degree of patience for holding Pollux shares and forgoing other opportunity costs with the amount of capital.

Volmax also shared some of the notable shareholders. I believe they're not dumb people who would take interest in small developer unless they think the future will be bright.

Cheers to a good weekend.

Yes, the answer is more than obvious! Why would two high-ranking Generals sit on the broad of a smallish properties developer? It don't take a genius to figure it out!
