Wouldn't that be like taking advantage of the selling shareholders? Not what management should be doing imo...

Why Not? ~ Who in the Stock Market is not taking advantage of the selling shareholders? ~ Management? They also want to make money, don't they?

Cannot earn money together with all shareholders meh? Why must transfer wealth from some shareholders to the rest?
As we draw nearer to 2015-2016, the prospect of a full-scale property market heavy correction becomes even more vivid
Wait to buy Hupsteel around 15 to 18 cents. Have to be patient. Those who bought below 20 cents would probably see that range again .

Steel business is not turning anytime soon and it might become a drag. NAV has dropped from 33.08 cents to 32.44 cents. Redevelopment works at Kim Chuan seemed to have been further delayed. (previously, did they say 18 mths?)

*****

The Group has begun the redevelopment of its freehold site at 6 Kim Chuan Drive (please refer to SGX
announcement #65 dated 19 April 2013) which is expected to be completed in about 24 months’ time.
Therefore, it is not expected to contribute to the Group’s earnings for the financial year ending 30 June
2014.

If short term/weak shareholders want to sell due to any reason(s) they see fit.. of cos this will benefit long-term shareholders who will want to buy as many shares as possible on the cheap!

This is free market forces at work mah?! ain't it? :O

If just becoz weak then biased against by management, then management would be justified to GO at very low price since they r the strongest.

Same logic there, that is why Co. has been buying in, once they got enough $ + sufficient % shares, they will want to GO at as low a price as possible! :O
Best is during crisis time. Delist on the cheap! Tongue

Now they are just accumulating $ + % shares and waiting for the right opportunity!
well on the bright side they r paying dividend.
Dont be surprised if company launches GO is way below the NAV, much to the angst of minority shareholders...if can get back 30 cents, think very happy..haha
