Base on TA, the RSI is already in the very over bought region. So some profit taking must happen before it can move higher.

true. same for downside. i dun see much of it. to me its real pb is only ard 0.5. few other stks trade at such hefty discount at such high sti.

Till date, I still could not understand how SGX decides who to query. They seemed to decide by throwing dices.
I think they run a software on that will trigger a signal based on volume, price, free float, market cap, etc against that day's market action and its historical trading data...and then some office boy verifies it and issues a query.

Anw the general consensus of the market is tat hupsteel this coming quarter result will be bad. Even i don have too much hope for it. So any gd news from the result will be a surprise i guess. Any opinions?
Its a tide lifting all boats. Look at all metal counters, Lee Metal, union steel, Nam Lee metal etc. All go up like no tomo.
If hup can maintain dividend 0.01, that can help cushion the share price but if dividend cut, then good luck to short term investors.

yup quite bad. sold some n buy back cheaper. the second day chart look awful. But there is quite a few steel company holding it up so I guess jus some healthy pull back.
hup result shd be out within thes few days. hope it will be ok...keep fingers crossed.

Result bad nvm cos its expected to not do well. But if it does not maintain its 0.005 half year dividend, then a revisit to 0.20 and below is highly likely. Keep fingers crossed it does not announce profit warning these few days.
