[Mr Lee said he found the decision by certain fund managers to sell their shares to TCC at S$9.55 each when the volume-weighted average price of the shares between Dec 19, 2012 and Jan 18, 2013 was S$9.644 “does not seem the logical thing to do”. ]

Given that even the PM's brother can get "outflanked" (for want of a better word) in this manner, what could mere mortals like us do?
They are either risk arbitrageurs or stockists for TCC.

Did anyone ask why FNN has to pay the breakup fee for OUE failing to bid? Mr Lee certainly thinks the OUE bid was a credible one.

Sorry need some help here. So what do i do if i want to accept the offer now? I dont seem to have received any "offer letter", or they are refering to the one that they mailed a few months back which i think i may have thrown away.

In fact, the procedure to accept is clearly stated in the revised offer doc with SGX website. For easily reference, i quoted relevant section here.

Kirin to sell F&N stake to Thai billionaire for $2b

Kirin Holdings Co., Japan’s largest beverage company, agreed to sell its 14.8% stake in Fraser & Neave to Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi for $2 billion.

Kirin will sell the shares no later than Feb. 14, according to a statement to the Tokyo Stock Exchange today. Charoen’s TCC Assets this week gained a majority stake in F&N after making an offer on Jan. 18 than valued the 130-year-old property and beverage company at $13.8 billion.

F&N closes at $9.43 today. Doesn't that mean that I can buy in the open market and sold it to TCC at $9.55? I calculated that I can earn at least $50 after deducting the commission.
