With Temasek holdings around, key blue-chips will be "protected". Big Grin
this soft drink Co. is a dead counter without the property division. It like a YHS equal. Lucky its got good mgmt all alone. Now LSH onboard, he is goreng all the unknown offer.

It will be lots of cash back to OCBC. Should not be buy F&N but OCBC. OCBC will give special dividend!!

i think the same but OCBC is singing in tune with F&N now. Yes PM's brother "suddenly" from Sintel "jump" to F&N during or after one of the unsuccessful takeover in the past. i wonder what he is going to do now for this current "corporate raider"? i guess the raider most probably from JAPAN as "usual". If foreigners can better manage our blue chips and willing pay our price then they we sud welcome them. We will develop more blue chips
FNN is largely held by OCBC through GE. Cash back will flow to GE, which a substantial proportion could be participating funds. Actual investment returns due from FNN will not be the full 200m+ FNN shares GE is holding. Nevertheless, it should still be a sizeable returns.

Cheers!
UPDATE 2-ThaiBev founder bidding for F&N stake as Heineken weighs options

Surprise! Surprise! It's not the Japanese this time but the Thai. In this case PM's brother may have to move again if the Thai is the largest shareholder; if the buying is successful. Who is the largest shareholder now? Sinkaporean or FTs.?
