OUE considering a bid for F&N .. look at OUE's announcement
it is related to OUE possible offer for F & N. OUE already made an announcement about it.
I doubt that OUE can succeed in bidding F & N with any partners except TCC & ThaiBev.

TCC & ThaiBev have gone through great lengths to have current stake of F & N, and there ain't many such deal exist any more.

even if OUE offers S$10, It is not worthy for TCC & ThaiBev to give up their stake in F & N.

OUE is unlikely to have the whole F & N with any other partners. at most, they can have the other 70%.
OUE needs partner(s) to counter TCC 's bid for F&N. So far Kirin, a rumored ally has kept it cards very closed to it's chest.
Coca Cola also mum so far, although more financial strength and familiarity with f&b biz IMO.

It will be interesting to see what (if any) counter offer happens. Will TCC walk away with a pocketful of $$ or do they really want the biz?
This is after all, a Big Deal...just speculating
The 1st closing date (29 Oct) is just slightly more than 1 week away. Let's see what TCC will offer.

Base on previous open market activities, large transactions done were only slightly above the offer price of $8.88 e.g. $8.89-$8.90, the counter offer if occur will not be too far from current offer price IMO
I am trying analyse the corporate moves at FNN, ThBev/TCC and OUE. I am also looking at Auric Pacific and its share price movements. I wonder if they are all connected. Lippo group (Stephen Riady) controls both OUE and Auric. One deals with property, the other with FMCG. Should Lippo get its prize catch of FNN, wonder if it will carve out FNN accordingly- property business goes to OUE, consumer business goes to Auric. This is a wild wild guess only. But it sure is very interesting. Of course Kirin and whichever party in concert gets a cut of the pie too. One thing's for sure,we're looking at the cannibalisation of FNN.
Yup...Looking at what happens, I am just sad that a home grown company like F&N would be torn apart...
IIRC, TCC had announced earlier that F&N will remain intact if GO is successful
