The interviewee was lucky to be near the top of the pyramid of a successful mlm venture.

As for BMW, I've had the fortune (i think?) of having driven some of the exec cars mentioned above. Of Saab, Volvo, BMW and Mercedes, BMW is a true driver's car.
After all these years, I finally went to check on max car speed. Found this site, looks like 155mph is quite standard for the brands I listed. Porsche and Ferrari is at a different standard.
I had gone for a Nuskin presentation more than 10 years ago. The concept was the same for all kind of MLM businesses - Build your downline.
Products??? aiya.. u got downline for sure u can move the goods...
How good is the product?? Nobody knows..
The presentation was given by an Ang Moh at Orchard. Half way I ran road liao...haha..(maybe it was a mistake???)

Well, the cost is neither low(look at the upline description of his wealth..) and the product is at most on par with any mass market cosmetics...(got see any rich tai tai uses nuskin?? or even better, I wonder whether Mrs Tan uses Nuskin).

It's all about brand perception. Get the E-class/BMW, your five match sticks and you are a tao kay.

Sounds like nonesense to me! What does MLM stands for? Where do you think the 'ML' get their commission from? How many 'layers' can the 'ML' take and don't forget that at each 'L' they're earning commission. Level, Layer, what's the difference? Huh

Mobile broker was not a popular concept 12 years ago. With mobile broker, there is no need to quit stock broker job to have more family time, but then there would not be a career change to join MLM too.

I wonder what a $240k smile looks like. Like this Smile or Rolleyes or Big Grin?

Haha that's a nice experience which you related!

Actually, to be honest, I've heard the same about the brand positioning with regards to BMW, that it's a mass market brand elsewhere. Still, it's being branded as a luxury car here and it seems to be catching on, as those who want people to know that the've "made it" tend to buy BMWs rather than Mercedes (OK, sometimes Audi too!).

It's a little like Marks and Spencer - in Singapore it's considered quite a premium brand but I've heard that in native UK it's a mass market brand. Brands have been known to use different segmentation and brand perception strategies in different markets (this one I learnt from my Marketing 101 back in Uni hehe :p).

German engineering technology is superb.

brand when backed up by reliabilit & trusted technology makes a difference.

for me, i prefer volvo.
In Germany or many European countries, they use it for taxi.
