The chairman all this while has been saying that the company is diligent in paying taxes and taking care of the environment. Hence, the heavy investment in pollution control, which begin to bear fruit now as some plants were shut down. In addition ,stringent pollution rules are also kicking in in jan 2015.

At this juncture, 2 telling points with regard to company's cash: regular dividends and high ranked in paying taxes, which lead to objective deduction that company's cash is real. Still, I understand there will be s chip doubters or nay sayers, which I think is fine as investment is individual decision but I would appreciate it if you want to post anything, be factual and objective as this would help Members to make informed decision whether to invest or not.

Hi I am being factual here. The numbers is provide by the link. I have tried to dig subsidaries of s-chips who claim this and there but he'll cannot find anything .... Dutech and sunshine show its not that difficult to find info since China from
Province down to city and zone like to trumpet their tax payers. It is one thing not about to get any info and another to find the info but not find the company subsidary in the list

Btw, qingmei, foreland and Eratat pay good dividends too. And those I not 1 off dividends. Qingmei and foreland even increased dividends before.

Hi Greenrookie,

I could not open the link you provided, but found the following:

http://12588174.11315.com/ac/m/1380234823714

Sunsine is number 16 in the list.

How do you make sense of the following:

Tax paid in April 2013 RMB 9.03m

Cumulative tax paid year to date (?) RMB 19.61m

Does it follow that companies in China pay more tax in the month of April?

How do you relate these figures (RMB 9.03m tax paid in April 03 and RMB 19.61m cumulative) to the taxes paid disclosed in Sunsine’s cashflow statement:

2012 RMB 3.39m (Sunsine had a bad year in 2012 after cutting product prices in 4Q 2011 to gain market share.)

2013 RMB 31.26m

By the way, Sunsine has another subsidiary in Weifang. Can you find out how much tax it paid?

Thank you in advance.

Someone told me Sino - grandness pay tax every month and not yearly. So I assume cooperate tax in China might not be paid yearly?

I never expect the figures to tally when I do these checks.i am no tax expert and I am not sure what considerations the tax bureaus take when. Publishing the data. From the AR footnote, IIRC, the PRc subsidiary paid 26 mio in taxes before tax incentive in PRC. So I say the figure is about right.
if the 40 cents level is broken , the next level should be 30 cents . It will be very quick from there ....

The next test for the company, is the upcoming end-year report. It might reveal the next trend of the rubber accelerator ASP.

(not vested, but monitoring)
