2015 Revenue for BWL Taiwan exceeded TWD 1,200 million, and it had grown 140% (presumably compared to 2014).
Revenue for 2014 was at TWD 530 million – a 140% growth for 2015 implies a revenue of around TWD 1,272 million (~ SGD 53 million )
Wondering what is their 2016 target ? The growth momentum seems to be growing stronger ! Ha-ha!
Looking forward to FY2015 results announcement for the Group at the end of next month - results from the other markets would likely to be mixed - with China, Indonesia and Singapore likely to perform better than the others - will see !

2016年你準備好了嗎~讓我們一起攜手並肩,
前進10強大!
It seems that their 2016 target is to become the top 10 direct selling companies in Taiwan.
2014 Revenue:
10th Ranked company = TWD 1.70 billion
BWL Taiwan = TWD 0.53 billion
2015 Revenue:
10th Ranked company = ???????
BWL Taiwan = TWD 1.27 billion
Based on the 2014 ranking, we are talking about revenue of around TWD 1.7 billion. Achievable ? It would be nice if they could ! Ha-ha !

“
In this brand new year of 2016, we wish everyone a blessings and prosperous year of Monkey! BWL Malaysia has achieved 45% sales growth in year 2015 due to the hard work and constantly efforts through all management team, core leaders and satisfied customers! “
According to BWL Malaysia’s monthly bulletin (Feb 2016), BWL Malaysia has achieved 45% sales growth in FY2015. It’s a pity that the final FY2015 sales figure was not given – probably in the range between SGD 3 to 6 million, I would guess – not a lot in absolute term if compared to Taiwan – nevertheless, a “growth” market in FY2015 – Ha-ha!
Going forward, hopefully we could see more of these “growth” markets – other than the Taiwan and China markets.
Malaysia revenue (SGD)
1H2014 = 1.141 m
2H2014 = not disclosed
1H2015 = 1.818 m
2H2015 = ?????

Funny - just like last quarter, a big move takes place right before results. If last quarter is anything to go by, results should be a blowout.
I am new to this best world company.
Is it a MLM kind of business?
Thanks

Thanks for the info. Very profitable company, may be due to lower operating costs compared to other business due to its MLM nature.
BWL was a very old stock - favourite of AK many years ago.
Dora's stories is also very touching too.
First time, thinking of buying was due to an article in NextInsight (Dora donation):

From my journal, I slowly slowly pick up BWL from Dec 2013 until Mar 2014 and then stopped because it's increasingly difficult to buy.
(P.S. my habit is to queue at lower buy price and someone will sell to me
likely due to this article in NexTInsight (Sam Goi buying):

I think BWL is a company with a good heart.

Hi Chialc88
Perhaps you could share with us why you think BWL is a company with a good heart. My (biased) opinion of MLM is that normally, they are focused more on selling than on the product. Of course I also learned from John Hempton that perhaps the support group is equally important if not more important part of the process.
