Ha! Ha!
You are very right!
Going to 66 soon in 2014.
Knee joints may be not working as and when i want them to work.
Hope i don't have to go for "knee replacement" one day.
Doctor advice is you don't have to do anything if you still can move and the pain is bearable.

How are things going with you?
i hope everything is fine.
Shalom.
WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

NB:-
My signature is meant for psychoing myself. No offence to anyone. i am trying not to lose money unnecessary anymore.

This forum has benefited most of us tremendously through the quality discussions of stocks and whatnot. Hope that this place would remain as the premiere Singapore-based discussion board for serious value-investors.

I'd to thank all the moderators for upkeeping this forum to its tidy state. Hope everyone is enjoying this well-deserved break, and not forgetting the food!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Me too! I appreciate what this forum brings to me. New insights, quality discussions of various investments tools, lesson on financial planning and etc.

Starting out, i was just quietly observing and reading/learning from the discussions, absorbing as much as i possibly can. As time goes on, my knowledge starts to accumulate and i begin to partake in discussions here.

I hope valuebuddies may remain as an independent discussion board for value investors for a long time to come Big Grin And i wish moderators, who have contributed massively to the upkeeping of this forum, and fellow valuebuddies here a happy boxing day!
