Germany - Munich or is it München?

Ok, sorry that I am jumping around Germany a little bit.
We are still in Germany, but in another city.
You see, German decided to develop Frankfurt like a big modern city but the Bavarian (German living in Munich) decided to build Munich just like the old time
aka all the building height can not be taller than then CHURCH.

#1 must see is the city center/square: Marienplatz
Go google Marienplatz and see some pictures yourself - let your finger do the walking.
Tips: I'm very amazed by the clock tower that still working after all these years.
At the hour, you'll see many tourists (yes, that include you),
standing below the clock tower and watch the show.
PLUS: if you overlook Marienplatz, you can see the alps.
The entire Munich is bath under the alps.
What a wonderful feeling.

#2 snack/fast food at the market square near city center.
The most famous food is this (self-explanatory?)
It usually served with sauerkraut (sour veg).
If you just chew the sauerkraut, I guarantee your teeth will turn soft immediately and your saliva come out (immediately too)!
The magic is when you chew both meat and sauerkraut together, it become sweet.
Don't believe? Try law.

#3 Nothing is complete in Munich without go to a beer hall for dinner (food, music and BEER!)
I recommend Hofbräuhaus (pronounce as Opera House).
Rice beer is the ONE beer that you die die must try.
You can see the rice grain dropping from the top with lots of bubbles.
Not a drinker?
No problem.
Let me recommend Radler - mixing 50% rice beer with 50% lemonade.

#4 if you have too much time, then I highly recommend
a. for those prefers indoor - Deutsches Museum
b. for those prefers outdoor - English Garden (** borrow a bicycle ** )

Tomorrow, let's go out for a day tour around Munich.

Today, we should pick up a car for our out-of-town adventure.

Being a budget driver, I'll get a Mercedes A200 with BlueEfficiency.
(for you, just pick any sports car like Audi R8 or BMW M4 or what ever you want)

Germany is famous for it's autobahn - expressway without speed limit.

We are going to drive quickly to Neuschwanstein and then Linderhof castles in a day trip.

You can relax, you got lots of time as its summer time and the sun won't set until 9:30pm.

First stop:

Ok, things to take note is the entrance ticket that you buy has a specific time of entry aka you must wait for one or two hours before allow into the castle (queue is quite long because it's popular lar).

Outside is actually a model for Disney land.

Inside looks like this:

Of course, you'll learn and read about the stories of Mad King Ludig II, so I leave it to you to find out yourself.

Then, we are going to take a extremely scenic drive to Linderholf (another castle law):

Garden is most beautiful. Status are decorated with Gold (siok!):

Actually, Linderhof is also build by the same person who build Neuschwanstein.

Enjoy your ride back to Munich and remember to return your rental car before heading for late dinner with a big smile.
