You're a genius bro... I was just going to post on the HI-P thread to ask for the research from OSK-DMG. Tried your suggestion and found it straight away. Big Grin

The best way that I know of is to read analyst reports of the company. How I do it is google "<Company Name> pdf". And look for pdfs from the brokers' firms. Some will provide peer comparison and you can use that as a reference.

Good morning to all.

Here's two screeners that I recently used; StockFact & Google Screener. The former being maker while latter being checker.
Note: Some criteria such as ROE (5year) or CR is unavailable in StockFact (or I don't know how to find) hence the results might differ.

Of course, both are useful tools for those without time. The traditional practice is to go through 7xx stocks manually without the help of tools & using your criteria.

Hope it helps,
SK

Yea that is good.

I'm using SGX screener + ShareInvestor. S.I to screen, then SGX to copy and paste non available ratio i.e EV, EBIT and etc...

I will be trying to explore the possibility to run a script that can copy and paste data from SGX to Excel.

Hi, from my experience with SI, I think SI is more than happy to include something you suggested and think is useful for their screener.  If accepted, can save you time transferring form one to another.

Do you have good experience with them?

All I know is their service is quite inadequate for example there are plenty of missing number such as net profit, gross profit and etc which show on their financial data page as "-".

Those missing figures are easily found in company AR.

Actually i think CIMB trading platform has quite a good stock filter. I can set some criteria (max 5) and they can generate a list of stocks that meet your criteria. Clicking on individual stock's fundamental view, they will show up to 5 years of the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and the various ratios.

Attached a sample of the stock filter based on some criteria i set and a printscreen of the individual stock fundamental view.
