Hello chialc88

Yes, agree with you about taking time to reflect.

We are all caught up with a race to get ahead, to get financial security. We forget to appreciate the little moments that gives us a smile. Can we recall a time when we made our first profit from the market?

Take a moment to appreciate the little things that made us smile... made us happy.
Even saying hello to people in the lift... and hearing a 'hello' in return is such a joy!.. makes everyone feel very human!

( I say 'hello', instead of greetings of the day like "good morning" because sometimes I get the response: " what is so good about the morning!".. or maybe a cold stare like I am gila...)

thanks for your encouragements.
I reminded myself that success is a journey and not a endpoint.
similarly, retirement is also a journey and not a endpoint.

Enjoy a quick 5 mins tour of the beautiful Europe palace.

I bet you enjoy the waltz music too.

If you're going to Germany, especially Frankfurt, consider drive/train to Wurzburg. It's one of those places that amaze me. Painting, arts, garden, church, architect, water, etc.
At Wurzburg residenz (palace), when you walk up the grand staircase, each of the 4 corners has a large ceiling painting describe one of the 4 continents using a woman + animal.
Take a look at this picture and make a guess which continent it described? tips: largest country in the world.

After Wurzburg, consider going to Rothenburg.
You'll fall in love with Rothenburg, everyday is a Christmas!

I walked randomly in Frankfurt.
I found something of intense interest to me.
GOLD, GOLD and GOLD.

A round 1KG Gold coin, Gold bars, Silver coins etc on display!

I never seen these type of shops before - only in Frankfurt.

Here's a video to enjoy a short tour of Frankfurt:

In Germany, if you're not driving, then you must learn how to use the train system.
I found that man@seat61 provides a good guide on how to use the train.
Check it out if you're planing to take a train (not just in Germany but anywhere in the world too).

An hour from Frankfurt (by train) is Cologne (yes the perfume).
However, you'll find out that the spelling is actually KOLN (with two dots on top of the O).
In facts, a lot of cities in Europe has different spelling that their English name.
Must check out their spelling before you buy the train ticket.
Koln Cathedral is very accessible from train station (aka hauptbahnhof).
I'll recommend you to take a day trip there.
Enjoy:
