I've already learnt my lesson that I won't be bothered about such stocks even if it goes 100X. If I don't know what's the game, I'm probably the "game"

Hope newbies can learn and move on.

is there something I have missed out on this gem? anyone care to shed some light?

You missed out the suspension Smile

Obviously you are lucky enough not to be hurt badly before Smile

Is that so? I just read that a person becoms a millionaire with only 15K invested in Blumont...Undecided

Every week, there's also someone who buys $1 toto to strike 1 million

why go buy troubles ?? Big GrinBig Grin

becoz so much excitement here... i went back to look at some stats...

from 26sep to 04oct: 22.28m Blumont npRs were traded for some $48m,
majority of these npRs were done at price of around $2.30 vs this morning 83m shares done @wted-ave 20c !!

Blumont's 1-for-2 RTs Issue: DEADLINE for Acceptance and Payment of Rights Shares is this thurs (10-Oct)
==> so an extra reason some people dumping mother shares: could be they still have lots of npRs (861m of it ) to subscribe into newshrs @5c each.

Dun play play... seems like it ain't over till the fat lady sings...

But certainly after regulators step in, the entire game plan has changed and one should not be expecting previous experience to be repeated.

Nevertheless it should deter anyone from doing their due diligence when it comes to differentiating between speculation and investments.

Expect the other affected relatives to pull out similar rabbits...

(who is he acquiring the shares from?)

The acquisition price of Blumont shares is subject to adjustment. The final acquisition price will be the volume weighted average price of the Group’s shares between the date of the agreement and closing of the transaction subject to a floor price of S$0.20 per share and ceiling price of S$0.60 per share. Closing is expected to take place within 30 days.

Blessing in disguise, forced sales at 2.30 per right share.
