Will the dividend sustainable?

According to the chairman I spoken with last year AGM, he told me it is sustainable.

So far, it is.

Let see for the rest of year 2012.

When the company pays out more dividends - mind all of us, as a pattern Viz Branz has been paying out 4 dividends a year in the past 2 years - some shareholders even start to doubt or ask new questions?!

The fact is that, as at 31Dec11, Viz Branz already had a net cash reserve of $28.11m.....

which is equivalent to approx. $0.084/share. As Viz Branz's leading instant cereal beverages sell particularly well in PRC between Oct to Mar - because of cold weather, and used as gifts during CNY, etc. - it is reasonably to expect that the cash pile in the group would have grown by quite a lot by Mar/Apr, when most of the $28.578m trade receivables as at 31Dec11 and new sales made in Jan/Feb12 would have been converted back into cash. Since capex - only $562k in 1H (ended 31Dec11) - is low unlesss the group builds another factory, why not pay out more dividends to shareholders (including the Chngs as the major shareholders). This is quite an easy decision to make for the Chngs and the BOD members, who are all shareholders.
I do believe the dividend is sustainable. Viz Branz just did a huge capex for its Chinese factory. It should be enough for the next few years.

all these dividends can be fund by its cash flow, why not sustainable?
very interesting developments. Just been reading the recent announcements between the father and son, and have a sense that the son is either eager to force a GO on the father or something else, may be forcing a sell down by the father so he would not trigger a GO?

And I was just thinking, given the state of relationship, if either one GO, the other will probably be kicked out. And if one is faced with threat of being kicked out from the company, what would he do before that happens?

And then come the announcement of more dividend distributions....hmmm...I'm sure there are more to come if thats the case?

But surely many happy faces out there Smile
*faint*...

I can't find any stock in SGX that matches Viz Branz in dividend payout.
Absolutely fantastic!
Must go to AGM to give thumbs up!
