Just checked my bank account and noted a very nice credit from Viz Branz's $0.005/share Final dividend for FY11 (ended 30Jun11). Feeling fantastic!
On 29Nov11, Viz Branz bought back another 140 lots at a higher price of $0.32/share.....

Todate, Viz Branz has bought back a total of 5,980,000 shares, or 1.68% of its total issued shares.

On 1Dec11 (yesterday), Viz Branz bought back another 50 lots at a higher price of $0.33/share.....

Todate, Viz Branz has bought back a total of 6,120,000 shares, or 1.72% of its total issued shares.

Today (2Dec11, Fri), Viz Branz closed higher at $0.335, with a total of 206 lots transacted. Market cap. now stands at $118.9m. Has anyone made a comparison of Viz Branz with Super Group and/or Food Empire, including their relative market cap.?
I thought today's (6Dec11) announcement is rather important.....

Even though Ben Chng has declared that he is not "to be seen acting in concert, directly or indirectly, with CKP in any way", it is relevant to note that between the father and son, the 2 now own 261.159m shares, or 73.57% (excluding treasury shares) of Viz Branz. This percentage will automatically rise further if Viz Branz continues to buy back more shares from minority shareholders in the open-market.
fight to delist? :O
There is a high quality corporate video in Viz Branz's corporate website.....
http://www.vizbranz.com/video.htm

The video has highlighted Viz Branz having the critical success factors in its regional instant beverage business - strong product R&D, high quality products with consistency, continuous and effective A&P spending, securing key raw materials including oat flakes and plastic packaging, building an effective distributor network, etc.
I believe that for any counter, it requires certain amount of liquidity for the market to discover its true value. if the public float of Viz Branz drops to certain level, I am afraid it might not be in the best interest of minority shareholders as it might never realize its true value.

just imagine, if one counter is crowded with value investors with near zero liquidity, almost no one would like to offer a higher price and a lot of people would expect its price to drop...
there's 2 announcement today, looks like the fight between father and son is back again?!! :O

interim $0.003 announced though..
Just like what happened 2 years ago (in Dec09), Viz Branz has just declared another 'CNY Hongbao' interim dividend of $0.003/share - the 1st dividend for FY12 ending 30Jun12, and coming early! - will be paid on 16Jan12.....

Today the company also released a short clarification announcement on Senior Chng's position under the Singapore Takeover Code.....

One thing is quite certain, if either Senior Chng or Junior Chng wants to privatize the company, they will have to make an acceptable offer to buy up the other party's shareholding.

I thought it is just some disagreement between them about whether they are seen acting in concert.
