actually order book is need to overhaul, not firm up, the last order was in december so trailing 9 months order book is actually ZERO.

All the boss have to do now is let the share price drift down as low as possible, since NAV is now ~32c and cash pile 25c he might let the stock price languish until it reach around that level then start doing share buyback until his share reach 90% before launching his offer at NAV. Nothing much OPMI can do, it's all legal...

yes, that's a typical boss scenario, Big Grin

looks like going to be going this way sir! Tongue

continue to observe, Big Grin
Well just have to relax...
Today sellers are probably those contra players who buy last week and hoping for a quick buck..
There are only around 40mil shares out there (excluding those major shareholders)..
Today the volume 3 mil.
If the boss is buying..he can really scoop up some shares cheaply today..
The order book will keep the company busy well until 2018..by then when it secure new project..orderbook will again go up..
Meanwhile, its cash pile has gone back up to $89 mil.
If this continue...next year its cashpile could grow above $100mil..
Again buy or sell at own risk..nobody asking u to buy or sell..
Ttj is a cashcow..
I believe there is a big issue of possibility revenue and net profit going down in the future. TTJ cash cow in terms of dormitory is gone.

However, I do have some margin of safety currently - so my decision is buy if it dropped enough or sell half of my holdings if it rises back to 40 cents and above.

My latest write up on the financial figures.

the hype is over leh, Big Grin

come back to biz basic! Big Grin Big Grin

now contracts to beef up the order book Boss Teo! Big Grin
If there was a hype in TTJ, it must have been a very short one, as evident by the no of postings in the past 2 weeks. A quick glance on other forums showed little posting on TTJ from its climb up from 37 cents to 47 cents

I had been holding it for 2 years and postings on TTJ was minimal. Even on VB, only a few members were actively covering TTJ.

If there is one thing to learn, it is to follow the number of postings across forums to actively monitor a stock. It is a good "technical indicator"

There is a new concept of "Crowdsource" by InvestingNote (http://www.investingnote.com/). you may get better indicator from the effort.

I don't think it is useful, beyond the feel of its popularity.  Big Grin
u guys check out TTJ's profile/volume/price chart over the last 1 month at sgx.com, really quite a fast rise, pump & dump action, Tongue
time in with the analyst report, Tongue

not sure how to post the chart here... Big Grin
Just have to relax....

The earlier selling could likely be cause by those contra player who bought last week and hope to make a quick buck..once big dividends come..its not 8c but its 1.7c...so yesterday they have sold..as can be seen the volume today much lower and has stabilised...

The stock has "adjusted" itself from 48.5c to 39.5 - almost similar to the 8c "expected dividend"...

It didnt factor in the solid balance sheet and record results..

So sometimes mkt is like that , but since teo already hold 85%..quite easy for him to take ttj private especially at such "adjusted price"....

If boss teo scoop up the remaining shares..he can get a solid company with plenty of cash and debt free..

I am not too worried about the dormitary which is not its main business...in fact a lot of pure dormitary biz companies like wee hur etc are also not doing fantastic...
And a dormitary u must remember has maintainance cost and subject to renewal by the relevant authorities..

So but i think by next year if the company could have $100mil cash if it can add $30.mil of free cash flow..and new project coming in..it will far outweight its dormitary biz..

Usually the contract be given towards year end..nov/dec usually- a lot of project will be given out after budget is approved..

By then , its order book will go up again...it can choose those project with better margin...

If u see some company like yongnam - win project but with peanuts margin..

And i am sure u all have heard of swiber story- win big project by submitting low bid..

Ttj is a more quality company...Smile
