Yes, it is about 17% of the total issued shares. We should see related announcement soon.

I guess what's important is who is the buyer? If its a nearly substantial holder, then no free float liao...

The shares are unlikely from the free-float, since it is a married deal.

A sell from the existing SSHs? I reckon it is very unlikely from Mr. Teo.

Buyer is CEO:

He is now holding 294.9 mil shares, 84.38%
With CEO Mr Teo Hock Chwee's purchase of 60.0m shares at $0.345/share in 2 separate off-market transactions today - likely from the Ng Family behind the Tat Hong Group - which has raised his total beneficial holding in TTJ to 84.38%, and his transfer of 120.0m shares from his CDP account to CIMB Bank.....

, it is almost certain that Mr Teo will soon have to make a GO to buy the remaining shares and privatise TTJ.

A relevant question : Why does Mr Teo wish to privatise TTJ?
Purchase price at S$0.345, interesting. Will we be able to find out the counterparty? From the amount, quite likely to be TH investment?
Seller of 54.723 mil shares is the other Chwee (THI):
