29% gain in one sale

It is interesting that your one lot sale continues to hold TTJ at 0.45, especially during this turbulent week. What does it say about TTJ investors?  That they believe in its robustness and there is no need to panic sell.

Looks like a seller was spooked by the one month zero volume sabbatical yesterday and sold off at 32 cents. CP 24, Abn Ambro clearing house. Which broker uses that? Seems quite high end, able to automatically match a buy in one second.
Another $16.0m worth of new structural steelworks contracts secured.....

which have raised the Group’s order book to $122.0m as at 17Sep15.

I look forward to the coming FY15 (ended 31Jul15) full-year result, which should be announced in the next few days (Note: Last FY14's full-year result was announced on 25Sep14). Perhaps it is timely to re-visit TTJ's 3Q result announcement.....

As TTJ had net cash of over $80.0m - equivalent to approx. $0.23/share - as at 30Apr15, I wonder whether a 'jumbo' final dividend (Note: last FY14's final dividend was $0.014/share) would be declared in the coming full-year result announcement.

Seems the order book 'crisis' is over... Hope that TTJ maintains its practice of raising divdends every year. Wonder also if the fallen ringgit would have an impact on its margin.
It takes time to find out if orders are secured by forgoing margin.
FY15 (ended 31Jul15) full-year result just out.....

Notwithstanding a fall in structural steelworks revenue and profits - which IMHO is fully understandable and acceptable for the cyclical and competitive business, bearing in mind that TTJ under the current management headed by founder Mr Teo Hock Chwee (张福水) would only take on projects which are both safe and profitable enough - the surprise $0.08/share final dividend declared, which will be paid out from the group $84.0m net cash reserve (equivalent to some $0.24/share), is truly music to my ears!  Big Grin
TTj has announced a decent 4.45 EPS.

On a cashflow basis, the company generated a cash flow of 8.9 cents per share. Cash on balance sheet has grown to 24 cents per share. The company has announced a 8 cents dividend probably to reduce excess cash. This is commendable.

Moving forward, it is likely TTJ will continue to produce a cash flow of 4-5 cents per annum with the pick up of public infrastructure projects (North-South expressway and Geylang Serai Community Hub). On an ex dividend basis, the company will be 25.5 cents. Hence P/FCF is still attractive in the 20%.

It makes my 1 lot sale of 0.45 seem like only a fair deal
Seems like the 8 cents is fully ordinary dividend without a special component?
Wonder if this means that TTJ would be sticking to a higher level of payout in the future...
Shrewd investment from buddies here. Was eyeing TTJ for a long time but never took it seriously. Proven wrong about its cash generating abilities.

(Not Vested)
Congratulation to fellow shareholder. A dividend of 8 cents per share, is really a music to our ears  Big Grin
