Markets hesitate

2nd April: The Eurostoxx 50 failed a key support last week. But France, Germany and UK are holding onto good supports. Let's give Europe another week or two.

In the US, the S&P500 is still struggling under resistance. A close at 1,380 would suggest a period of weakness. A close at 1,430 would be encouraging.

Asian markets are looking fatigued. Hongkong is spluttering around support at 20,000. Korea has failed a key support. Thailand has hit strong resistance.

Initially I was hoping that STI would break 3200 and hit as high as 3800 but looking at how things go now....we would be lucky if it reaches 3250.....3800 not possible for time not on our side......

so now we are at 3000 and if it hits 3250.....not much meat.....Look at the volume of STI you can sense a lethargy....US Nasdaq is breaking record with lower volume. I came across an cynical comment that said Nasdaq would hit 5000 soon with 0 volume....I am telling my friends to reduce.....never mind if it goes higher....you can never know exactly where is top/bottom....just take profit...
David Rosenberg: The Record Quarter

In the alleged suicide note, found by police and reported by the Athens News, he said: "The government has annihilated all traces for my survival, which was based on a very dignified pension that I alone paid for 35 years with no help from the state.

"And since my advanced age does not allow me a way of dynamically reacting... I see no other solution than this dignified end to my life, so I don't find myself fishing through garbage cans for my sustenance."

On Spain death spiral, just curious isn't that what Thailand, S. Korea and Indonesia took the medicine from IMF during the Asian crisis. Didn't they return to health ?
