The moral of the story is not to stress ourselves too hard physically and mentally. Enjoy the holiday seasons while we can.

Global trend needs more time to bottom

19th December: A second bottom for Europe and most Asian markets, taking a couple of months, would still be the best case scenario for a sustainable rally next year. Under such a scenario US markets would stay in a range, Europe and Asia would fall a bit and then build. Just a guess.

In the last 3-4 mths I have been travelling to china to 3 provinces and also Spain and Portugal. What i see in china is very troubling, much more than europe. sure the PIIGS countries will struggle a while but life will go on with lots of belt tightening. The euroland will sort itself out after the horse trading settles down when they are pushed to the wall.To me there is a high probability of a hard landing in China. i saw many townships in china which were ghost towns and many abandoned projects too. Reminds me of Thailand during the AFC except that China is on a much bigger scale. At the same time many of the poorer folks whose land has been grabbed to put up those expensive housing cannot afford them and has no homes. recipe for a revolution especially if there is high inflation on food and china would be up in flames.

just wait for the next one. Smile
I believe if u invested fairly correctly in a crash in the window period of 6-12months, you will be able to make back almost all that you had missed out in the previous bull run of 5-10years.
