Some additions insights, as to who is happy and who is not so pleased. Developing story..

"To have the right to do a compulsory acquisition, it will need to garner 90 per cent of the shares it does not already own. But it will most likely be unable to do that because a substantial shareholder, SZ TGM, has irrevocably undertaken to reject CIMC's offer, CIMC said.

SZ TGM holds about 21.26 per cent of Pteris, CIMC noted.

The name "SZ TGM" appears to refer to Shenzhen TGM, a company owned by the employees of Shenzhen CIMC-TianDa Airport Support.".. from the Business Times

New passenger terminal building to be built at Seletar Airport - See more at:
http://sbr.com.sg/aviation/news/new-pass...ar-airport

Potential to snag another BHS project or their PPBs? At least it is indicative of the Govt's plans to invest in building up airport infrastructure and more importantly, anticipating ahead of the demand curve.

Following China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd (CIMC) launching a GO for Pteris at $0.735/share on 21Apr16.....
http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Offer%20...eID=400077

CIMC has since extended the closing date of the GO to 7Jul16, after having secured till 22Jun16 only 3.7% additional shareholdings from acceptances, giving a resultant total shareholdings of 79.3% (including those held under persons acting in concert).....
http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Extensio...eID=409838

It is interesting to note that Mr Market has since 23Jun16 marked up Pteris' share price to a high of $0.765 on closing today (29Jun16). Is this a cue for an upward revision of the GO price by CIMC - a large listed corporate under the PRC state-controlled China Merchants Group with solid finances - to come?

DBS Bank, on behalf of Sharp Vision Holdings Ltd/CIMC, has just announced raising the GO price to $0.85 (from $0.735 previously) and having secured undertaking from some minority shareholders with another 9.63% shareholdings to accept the revised offer, giving them a resultant potential total shareholding position of more than 90%.....
http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Revision...eID=411292

Other minority shareholders who have not accepted the GO yet should be thankful for the minority shareholders who have negotiated the revised higher GO with DBS and CIMC.

heartening to know that the minority shareholders held and stood up for the rest to achieve this 85cents GO.
This is probably the final light at the end of the tunnnel liaoz.
and probably time to move on.
MIniorities interest and bargaining chips were strategically used..

I noted Winmark Invst (own by Mr Winston Tan) also releasing their holdings.
Mr Soon Kong Ann and Madam Pearly CHan also tendering..
only Mr Low KOk Hua's not mentioned yet, but should be a matter of time.... akan datang.
FYI too guys.
