This china  property company  is reporting its annual results tomorrow ( 14 March 2017)  and the  annual  results  may surprise .

The major shareholder made a mandatory cash offer at HK $0.25  per share in early 2015 ( equivalent to $6.25 after the 1 for 25 shares consolidation last year .).

The current share price is still around  25% below the 2015 mandatory cash offer and well below the NAV at $22 approx.

(  I lost heavily on this one stock  many years ago when I had no idea about value investing ).

This company issued a positive profit alert up 80% which 1.8 x 73 cents eps in 2017 = $1.31 . Last year the shares managed to climb to about $6.50 = 9 PE .

So next Monday evening we should see the annual report of 2018 EPS around $1.31 and hopefully attract buying interest , taking the share price up to around $1.18

Correction for post No. 3 quoting wrong target price :

from : "taking the share price up to around $1.18"

revised to : "taking the share price up to around $11.80"

Yesterday the 190 buyers woke up and showed their interest in buying such as to raise the shareprice to closing at $6.08

The Annual report for 2017 states the EPS is $1.70 - up from $0.73 in 2016 and this is a good result.

The final dividend for 2017 is 11 cents up from 8 cents last year and this is not a generous result for the investors.

Many HK prop co has a lot of fair value gains on their inv prop in their EPS calc. not representative of cashflow.

Prop developers usually keep their cash for buying and developing land sites. It is a capital intensive business.
So have to see it as working capital, rather than free cash. Unless their landbank (eg. reclaimed indu land or pineapple plantation)
is so dirt cheap that they can just give out the profit they earned
