I reckon the management needs to balance the reward and share dilution.

I glimpsed at 2015 AR. The ratio of share/total compensation is <10% and the 20% is the maximum discount. The ESOS scheme is also well-spread among the management team.

The company has paid more as the annual dividends than the key management compensation, including the share award. It should be pretty fair allocation, IMHO

Some shareholders also complained about this options scheme at 20% discount at the AGM. Apparently, I am not the only one thinking it is not very pleasant to the rest.

RE: Valuetronics Holdings
It is my first stock dividend in my short experience so I have the following question:
Ex-date is 25/05 and record is 29/05

- if I sell the shares in my portfolio tomorrow at the open, do I still get my 10% extra shares later? Or do I need to wait for 29/05?
- when will I see the 10% extra shares on my account?

Thanks in advance

Hi Noah2013,

1) This is not Dividends, it is Bonus.

2) The Ex Date is 25.05.17 so if you've 100,000 shares and you sell them today, you may sell them at about $0.85 per share.

3) If you don't sell them today, tomorrow you'll have 110, 000 shares and the theoretical price will be about $0.77
