The article is just one way to gauge sentiment on the ground. I am not saying it is definitive, as I am aware the media likes to play such things up whether in bull or bear markets. BY compiling a list of such articles, we can more or less present a pertinent case for bullishness or bearishness in general.

By the way, I had a quick glance at the Top 20 Volume today. All but ONE counter was priced below $1.00 (Genting is the exception). That says a lot, to me at least. Tongue

Definitely, more people jumping onto the band wagon.........

A few of my friends asked me for tips.........I told them to wait for the recession, and they stared at (jaw dropped) me as if I got 3 heads.....

Your advice is very sound - a recession is one of the best times to purchase with margin of safety.

Perhaps your friends were expecting a different kind of advice. Tongue

It's very difficult to talk to them.......they are always on the opposite side of me etc..........

For example, I told them to invest around Nov-dec 2008.....one lady say to trade (she cited the "trend" is to hold and let go then)

Now, I say to wait for the next recession, they all want to invest lolz.......

I usually let them be.........They never listen anyway Tongue

If they were expecting trading tips, they can forget about it......They dont understand that......

The bane of Technical Analysis is that is way too accessible, people dont study the orthodox version of it and always underestimate the years of hard work needed.........and for goodness sake, chart nexus is weak compared to MetaStock......Tongue
