Thanks Zelphon for sharing your friend stories.
Behind every G policies, there will always be cracks and people who benefited and suffers.
I felt for the poor and sick people who are not able to fence for themselves too.
They are definitely the kind of people that we expects our G to protect in the first place.
It is the G job to reach out to those needy that's bed-ridden or not able to step out of their home.
No doubt about that.
As a Singaporean or even foreigner in SGP, if you had encounter these needy, please step up and help them connect to the G too.
I reminded myself, that we had a lots of want.
But our need is very little.
Like MP ChanCS answer on a question raise during election campaign:
One at a time.

I really like the idea of privatizing ones assets but socializing ones liabilities. But please keep the tax rate as it is now.

May be until someone you know face the same situation then you will really know.
But we know our CPF system is build on "MERITOCRACY ONLY". Don't expect anything more from our G.

Why? Hate is a big word. We should all be working together for betterment of this country and society we live in.
How is hate going to help you or the society and the country?
What does hate do but cause problems....
If you disagree with their policies or experience something wrong like I did , voice it out in the meet the people session or write in to the newspaper to express your views to be heard.
But when you do, do it constructively, so that people understand and appreciate where you are coming from.
Antagonizing anyone is not going to help.

That's what I'm thinking also but there's quite a few elderly homes where they put people they want to keep out of public eye like street homeless those with mental issues that she mentioned she is alone her health and memory condition and the video has qone viral.
but quite callous the way her money was removed from her bank account but nobody here wants to question that because since nobody knows enough so never mind just look away

So your point is that the Govt should help the old lady equally regardless whether she owns $5 million or $200k worth of property? Does your position change if instead of owning property, she has all that assets in the form of cash in bank or stocks instead?
P.S. Just to avoid any misunderstanding, I am not a Govt hater or supporter but I have voted opposition all this while.
