I mean lumpy, project-based orders. VICOM type of business is not project based and recurring.

Anyone who think DS is a 'keeper' for its dividends is misguided.

In their year end announcement, there is this statement which maybe you had missed out.

"The Group remains well-positioned to engage current market conditions with an order book of S$230.8 million as at 12 February 2015 and a healthy cash position of S$48.4 million as at 31 December 2014."

given cooling property sector in SG, would DS have less business going forward?

Only time can tell. No crystal ball on hand haha. Still got hospitality and commercial sector plus China economy to consider. As long as mgmt remain robust, healthy order book and cash balance I will still keep. Of course I have a mos in my purchase price as well.

I think been small is good. They are very flexible, and always seen to be able to win contract even under dire condition. Another counter will be Libra. They already got license to bid for unlimited amount. I think these 2 are quite recession proof. Especially, Libra been local and more old building require upgrading of air con and facilities. ISOteam too is recession proof. Vested in Libra n ISOteam only.

Hi Yewkim, I have iso too but not yet had the chance to buy libra as still looking at whether they can sustain the roe. Libra cash cow should be kin xin engineering which is winning m&e contracts. But still need to monitor their ability to complete projects on time, collection rate and recovery of costs.

I think this has been planned for long as he scheduled to sell all his stake to the owner DEPA batch by batch. He just cleared his stake in Jan 2015, then now they announced his departure.

Not sure what is the impact...? But I noticed the share price has been falling from 54 to 50 since the announcement.
