This technology is common in China and they are really good in this recycling business. One of my business associates made a small fortune from this trade.

A coy director with > 10 yr industrial experience admitted that he sometime buy the waste oil to produce biodiesel.

Another veteran said some illegal collectors sell the oil in Malaysia.

I saw documentary some time back, there are company here that make biodiesel for export obviously but I always wondered where the oil came from.

I think it's a good business help clear the oil clog up in the sewers for a fee then recycle it back into biodiesel.

There was a time when we were taught in school that people was our only resources. Now school text books will have to be updated to reflect that we are now an oil exporter. We finally found oil underground.

On a serious note, even if the oil is for sale in our neighbouring country, I hope the authority will not be flippant about it. Who knows whether some portion of the gutter oil or its derivatives may return, mixed with the imported crude palm oil.
