The extension of FY from June to August was already announced 1 year back, so, I'd expect that when they gave the guidance in Q3, they'd have factored that in. I have also previously posted that the number of shares is a lot higher this year due to exercise of Wrt13 @ 32ct, so, I was actually quite surprised they guided for a DPS = 3.3ct (ever after factoring in a 14-mth period).

Let's see the outcome, it will be released soon.

The outcome will be released on 18 October 2012 (Thursday)

I am not expecting the warrant W170724 market price soar to 4.7 cts, with volume close to 1.8 mils

Is it due to speculation activities, or optimistic view on the company future? I will opt for the former.

IMO, Mr Market has over-priced the warrant W170724 to more than 5 cts

I had sold all of my W170724 warrant awarded with price of 5.3 cts.

14% realized return over 3 months, annualized is more than 50%, and more to be expected for dividend and capital gain.

not too bad for an investment Big Grin

I am holding onto W170724 warrants too. It is reflecte on my SGX statement but not in my POEMS account. How do I go about selling the warrants?

CDP (SGX) account is the "real" account to prove that you own it.

POEMS account is "bu bake" (not applicable, for your own reference only). For those share not traded via POEMS, you have to add manually, the same applies to bonus share, bonus warrants etc.

Till date, the SGX still has not resolved the problem of releasing the CDP information to stockbrokers to prevent unintentional short selling. I had committed unintentional short selling in the earlier days when I was not careful and wasted some $$$ to buy back the shares from market.

I covered the short back in the same day after I realised that I had sold more than I had in my CDP. So, no penalty.
It's kind of irritating that there is no warning.

CDP should include the capability to allow the broker to query whether the seller has enough shares in CDP.

I should be kicking myself for selling too early for 2017 warrants Tongue

The 2017 warrant's value lies with its mother share. The warrant is only exercise-able in 2015.

IMO, Mr Market has valued it @ 7 cts now which is obviously over-valued
