Today, I am truly in awe of the power of valuebuddies.com and the power of supply and demand. I was merely restating some 1 week-old news from SGX and Mr Market reacted so furiously in 2 days.

no need to get overly excited.
Low liquidity stock, come down also can be equally fast.

Wonder if there will be an EGM on the Malaysia property disposal. At least can ask management what are they going to do with the money.

I am still long! No reason not to be. It will be a few baggers for me so might as well enjoy the ride if I am in no urgent need for the cash. Smile Other than investing in illiquid stocks, I also invest in entrepreneurs who have no intentions of cheating minorities, through the various actions that the management displayed over time. They have made it big, they need not work anymore in theory, but they want to break new grounds and bring the business to a higher level. I will join in the ride with them.

Wah mslee888, you really took my word for it and didnt read the company annoucement ah? Their announcement did state that an EGM has to be convened.

I did read. If I am not wrong, an egm will be convened unless there is a SGX waiver as quoted below:

"Based on the relative figures above, the Proposed Disposal of the Property constitutes a major
transaction under Chapter 10 of the Listing Manual Section B: Rules of Catalist of the SGX-ST (the
“Catalist Rules”) and is conditional upon approval by Shareholders in an EGM or the Company having
obtained a waiver from SGX-ST to convene the EGM.
In the absence of the Company having obtained a waiver from SGX-ST to convene an EGM, the
Company will be circulating the Shareholders’ Circular in due course and will make the relevant
announcement for the convening of the EGM of the Company."

i think it's rly becoz of the forum LOL. sudden value realization. psolhawk. be careful =) maybe sgx ll come talk to u HAHHAA. (for realising the value of the stock).

i don't feel safe holding it at 60 cents though. mgmt saying that they r looking for acquisitions with that cash rather than like dividends out all of it. so got out at 50. if it get back down to 40 might get vested again.

There will be no egm for the property disposal since company managed to get a waiver from SGX.
