Other than giving out all the remaining 18million cash as special div(~5cents?) not sure how this SSH can contribute. As they are investment firm not sure how much expertise they can contribute. unless they have some other synergistic businesses in this sector.

Assuming they do go down this path of special interim div, we could expect another spike in price up nearer 30 cents.

HarvestTime looks like you are spot on about the retirement of the Tans ;D

After disposal of 29.05% stakes, the Tan family still have 48.62% stakes (maybe more if Chew and Chua are relatives).

The 6 Tan members hold 20.84% stake after disposal.

Before disposal, 16 Tan members hold 81.77%, after disposal 16 Tan members hold 51.48%.
Attached is the corrected excel spread sheet image. I hope no more mistake on the latest excel spreadsheet.

This makes it sound the oldies are cashing out but still leaving most of the company to their relatives to run and Hummer is going to be a passive controlling shareholder looking to buy and hold for a while.

Does this mean there is possibly some more value to be unlocked at a later stage?

Anyone started selling their holdings in PNE already? Whats the reason for your selling?

Also for those holding on to the stock despite the huge increase, whats your underlying reason too?

I sold my entire position. It was trading close to my estimate of tangible book, adjusted for the Berhad sale and dividend. This has been a subpar business for over a decade. I don't see why it should be worth much more than book. Note that this was around $0.22, my estimate of book being around $0.23. Market price has declined a bit since.

I know people from this forum focus more on FA.
I usually focus on FA but look out for TA, SA and QA.

I sold a small portion (17%) of PNE Ind on Tuesday, but I want to sell the remaining shares for higher price as I think the new owner will likely have some plans for PNE Ind.

Dow Jones about to break down on Thursday. I sold all PNE Ind shares and reduce other shares/portfolio on Thursday in anticipation Dow Jones break down on Thursday.

Dow Jones will perform/attempt rebound (intraday) tonight, but it is very difficult to predict how long or how deep is the correction. Just need to wait for more news from US and other parts of the world.
