is it very a competitive or "crowded' sector? tks.

Perhaps, dydx would be better qualified to answer this. However, quoted from AR: "Lantrovision (S) Ltd is the only Public Listed Company in Asia with dual BiCSi accreditation of Prestige Corporate Platinum Contractor and Prestige Corporate Platinum Consultant status."

A quick search on google, revealed a few competitors. Some small, some not so bad.

Today (3Jul13), co-founder and MD Chan Thye Yuan made quite a major off-market purchase and added 4,680,000 shares - equivalent to 1.73% of the total 269,741,836 outstanding issued shares - at a (I thought) very attractive price of $0.275/share.....

The purchase would have cost Chan a cool $1.287m (before brokerage and SGX fees) - this is certainly no small beer! - and it has raised Chan's direct interest in Lantrovision to 27,651,481 shares, or 10.2%.

This is certainly a show of strong commitment by Chan to the company and business that he manages!

Today high volume of almost 12million, something coming? Why no query from SGX?

Today's (31Jul13) total volume transacted of 12,278 lots is indeed very high! Based on the large sizes of some of the transactions, it appears to me among the buyers there are some parties - hopefully they belong to the well-funded longer-term investor type - who could be deliberately pushing up the price in order to collect in volume. I sure hope that Lantrovision will pay out a big dividend from its huge cash reserve when the company announces its full-year results by end-Aug.

FY13 (ended 30Jun13) full-year results out last evening.....

Lantrovision has proven yet again as a very steady and well-managed regional business generating a aftertax FCF (before recurrent capex, which is very small and amounting to less than 10% of FCF) in excess of $10.0m yearly. A $0.02/share Final dividend declared - this may well be the start of a trend of regular dividend payments going forward.

I suppose shareholders and new investors alike should also take note that within Lantrovision lies a huge cash reserve - the company is like a mini-bank!

Today's (2Sep13) announcement confirms that Ms Chan Bee Fong has on 30Aug13 added yet another 69,000 shares by paying $0.33/share, and her latest purchase has raised Ms Chan's direct shareholding in Lantrovision to 16,186,000 shares, or 6.00%.....

I think it is relevant to note that the above is Ms Chan's 4th purchase after Lantrovision announced its FY13 (ended 30Jun13) full-year results on 22Aug13. She started buying on 23Aug13 (the very next day) by adding a whopping 1,473,000 shares and paid $0.335/share (announced on 27Aug13), followed by on 26Aug13 by adding another 873,000 shares at $0.34/share (announced on 27Aug13), on 29Aug13 by adding another 263,000 shares at $0.33/share (announced on 30Aug13), and the above latest purchase on 30Aug13.

I think it is also relevant to note that through the above 4 purchases, Ms Chan has raised her shareholding in Lantrovision by a whopping 2,683,000 shares, and from 5.01% before 23Aug13, to now 6.00%.

Do fellow forumers have some ideas about Ms Chan's background to share? Is Ms Chan related to ED Mr Chan Thye Yuan, or the other 2 EDs, Mr Lum Chue Tat and Mr Ang Ee Tiong, Kenneth?

I took a look at the company. I wonder why they did a rights issue in 2012 when the company is flushed with cash? Trying to flush out some shareholders?

Thumbs Up
By the look of the rather sharp rise in the volume traded and share price - last done at $0.37 - this afternoon, it looks like Mr Market is finally working to re-rate this gem-grade business to its justified fair market value! Big Grin
