I am trying to understand. In the Edge article, TIH claims to be the only 1 of 2 listed asset management company in Asia. Isnt ARA also in asset management?? Hope some buddies can enlighten me, thanks!

Thanks for all your advise. I contacted the investment a/c bank and confirmed the nos of warrants. Managed to sold 50% of it at rock bottom price.

Not sure is it good to convert the.balance warrants to shares.

Appreciate if someone post the latest Edge report on TIH.

I will discourage the posting of full article, which is likely a case of copyright infringement, since The Edge is a subscribed magazine.

Why not buy one, just for the report, and other interesting articles?

Which TIH investment invested specifically by ASM did well? Most of TIH blockbusters were done by Chrostopher Leong.

Perhaps he sees themselves as a different category of investors. He probably sees TIH as a fund manager closer to ValuePartners, Blackstone and Ashmore, which has a range of investment funds and private equity funds, rather than ARA which manages REITs and Property funds (a niche product).

Does anyone have a link to the company website?

This company never has a website. Their AR never change the design of the cover page, only the colour. Their AR never contain pictures, only words and tables. The lunch provided during AGM is very simple stuff, I am not even sure if I should call it a lunch. In other words, a very frugal company. I am not sure if this is due to the ASM culture or the Transpac culture, or both. Perhaps things will change now that they are a Asset Management company, but I hope they will remain frugal. However I agree they should have a website.

Kin Chan is the CIO of ASM. He is the co-founder with V-Nee Yeh. Yeh is a well known value investor in HK.

The person I am more interested is Alan Wong, who is supposed to be the main person together with Stanley Cheong in charge of TIH.
