Mandarin Oriental: Received at least five competing bids mainly from funds, for the potential sale of 860-room The Excelsior in Hong Kong.
Bids are close to higher-end of the range at HK$30b.
Based on HK$30b (US$3.84b), sale proceeds from the potential sale would surpass Mandarin Oriental's current market cap of US$2.82b (US$2.51/share) by 36%, implying that its other assets (29 operating hotels) come for free.

Maybe can take a photo with you (face airbrushed if privacy is an issue) in a coat, stockings and wig (cosplay style) in front of the hotel and post it here?

if 5 bidders were to submit such a generous valuation, only to be rejected by management, investing now can only be wrong if
a) the property market in HK is overly optimistic, and the bidders were all crazy in valuation
b) the management of MO has proved to be shareholder-unfriendly and holding the stocks is unwise
