Great! Let's compare notes. I am still in the midst of carrying out research into this and a number of other counters. For counters of interests to me, usually I will take a very small position and then carry out the research. A number of counters I hold have appreciated substantially and not so under-valued anymore and hence I have to look for other counters.

I have divested my small Baker Tech stake today as I do not find it very attractive as compared to Hotung and Guthrie, which I have increased my stake.

the value of the company lies within its huge cash holding. Whether the management is going to distribute it or spend it on some business(since they won the lawsuit against SembMar and SembMar is not appealing about this part of decision; the company is free to use the money) is better than to let it stay in balance sheet doing nothing.

If Seadrill's action on Asia Offshore Drilling is any indication, Discovery Offshore around 20% owned by the company is worth more than the value on the book.

freedom and king,
Thanks for the information. There are still quite a number of counters with attractive valuation and I am trying to keep not more than 20 stocks in my portfolio so that I can have more in-dept understanding of stocks I own. Most of my stocks are in property and oil and gas at the moment. This has been the theme for me since last year and will continue to be the theme this year. I also prefer stocks that have deep discount to NTA and consistently high dividend yield. It is unclear to me what is the management's plan with the cash -- probbaly acquiring new businesses and give some out as dividend but I cannot be sure. Considering a number of factors, I prefer to raise the stakes on counters which I am already familiar and holding for some time.

This one has moved up quite a lot since I have divested. No regret as I did not spend enoughntime to study the business and only had a small stake. Congrats to those who have the conviction for this!

I think it moved up in anticipation of his FY results. Hoping for a fat special dividend.
