The problem with Creative is that it keeps burning more cash in trying to compete in the global consumer audio market where it clearly lacks that marketing prowess and scale to be successful.

if only Sim would give up his global ambition and sell out its no doubt valuable patents to a larger player, and return the cash to shareholders. Hope that in his 60s, Sim will come to terms that he will not be able to come up with another global product that is anywhere as profitable as his original sound blaster, and stop throwing more good money after bad.

new product and technology

Creative has zero debt and 2.25 cash per share. But over the years they are equity destructive and loss making. Not sure how this "break through" discovery will pan out. Its still prerevenue. Own view.

Regarding this, I read it from sgx press release way back in 17 Jan. Suddenly everyone caught onto this new technology/hype?

From the reviews, there is indeed raves about its product. Watched one of the review videos way back, if I didn't recall wrongly, users are required to perform a one-time setup to customise Creative's product to their individual profile for optimum hearing results. I wonder if most users will accept this, or will Creative improve and make it more convenient for the users.

Invest in people, not products. They may have a great product now, but they also have a 2 decade history of mismanagement. I will believe it when I see it (business execution).
