I think either it's blocked by Singtel or I kena IP banned here... Smile

After you connect to singtel broadband.

click start --> run --> cmd

at the c:\ prompt run the command

nslookup www.valuebuddies.com (without the http://)

or

nslookup m1.com.sg

if you get a reply answer with the IP of the site then you should be good to go otherwise it means you are not connected to singtel network.

Thanks! But it wasn't singtel network connection problem as i was ok for other sites eg. 'Live' Price from POEMS

Now, it seems ok again. Perhaps, IP unblocked... Tongue

hmm .. usually intermitten connectivity issues is usually related to dns problems. removing your old cache sometimes helps or disable dns-prefetching

personally as a side note I use a freeware called glary utilities, it is a set of tools that will search and fix all the registry, search for all the gunk and crap on pc and clear it out. pretty good Big Grin

Good day to all.

This morning I noticed that I am being link to a promotional website whenever I try to click anywhere in the top end of the forum. Is it just me or did something happen to the forum?
(Please refer to the snapshot in the attachment)

Thank you.

natnavi: something to do with your resolution? I believe that's the advertisement banner. The same link is being shown on an ad banner for my browser.

Thank you.

Are you running adblock? Disable the adblock for VB site and everything will be fine.
But, you will see the advert again Tongue

Thank you yeokiwi. It was the adblock. I did not know that adblock will have such impact. Thank you.

Thank you dzwm87 for your suggestion.

Wow, a sharp-eyed reader.

I'll deactivate the plugin until there's a fix from the developer.

The subject is too long. You cannot reply via 'Quick Reply' box, you can only reply via 'REPLY' button which is available at each post.

Another quick fix is to shorten the text in the Post Subject: textfield.
