I am young, so I am a net buyer of equity. I like when the market is down. It gives me more opportunity to buy cheap.

Well given the deal seems to raise the ceiling for just 6 weeks, you'll get more opportunities to buy at low prices soon. I also subscribe to the maxim "luck is when preparation meets opportunity" so I guess we should do more research on stocks in anticipation of bargains.

I am too old to retaliate your immature actions. Get a life and be a man.

This type of comment never helps in a productive debate. Please refrain from making similar comment, to ensure a fruitful debate which might benefit all of us.

I tried to understand freedom's points. I might not agree with him. I will contribute my view if any, otherwise, I will make a stand and respect the disagreement.

Thanks

Let's get back to the topic.

Pres. Obama just rejected the proposal of temporary lift of debt ceiling for 6 week with government shutdown from the Republicans. Who is risking the future of the US? The Democrats or the Republicans?

What would you tell a person whose spending constantly exceeds his/her income? Will you be happy to suggest them to borrow more to spend?

life goes in cycles, predictable yet uncontrollable; just like the markets, but markets give you a second chance
