This is a US private company, so i think it is more appropriate to post under others, rather on US listed company

I read article on this private company in latest The Edge, on the new youngest US billionaire owner. It started way back in 1948, and went thru 3 generations of owners.

I am more interest to know its success story. Its estimated EV is much more than Yum!Brand and McDonald.

Anyone tried its burger in US? There is one outlet in Singapore too. Anyone tried?

where's the outlet? I only knew of one in boat quay that was open for a one-off.

used to have it a few times a week when i was in california - i love it!

only a few items on the menu (cheeseburger, fresh cut fries, milkshake) but all very fresh and well prepared.

Yes, I tried it in the US. I normally don't eat fast-food but when I was in the US, I joined my friends to try out at this "In-N-Out".

1) The appearance of their building looks almost like MacDonald.
2) The counter has better appearance compare to others.
3) The grilled meat in the burger definitely taste better.
4) I love the Orion ring in the burger.

If they come to Singapore, they will give MacDonald a good competition.

key to success in SG is not in the recipe it's in the marketing to have good marketing you need money stacks and stacks of it to throw.

Macs not good food I prefer A&W really juicy but where is A&W today in Singapore market and where is Macs the same thing will be for In-N-Out

Apparently no outlets in Singapore. Still wondering why they did the promotion here in.

There was an article in recent Fortune magazine about this company. Seems they have only two production plants in ths US and their strategy is to only open stores that are within a truck journey from the centralised production plants to those stores. Fresh materials.

They maintain simple menus (Gordon Ramsey would be so proud of them), greatly simplify the training for their staff, kitchen equipment, quickens the ordering.

Productivity seems very high. And their stores can be really crowded at peak hours.

Tasty!

Fresh ingredients. They don't have any freezers nor can openers in their outlets (their tag line). All their lettuce are hand-peeled, and fries hand-cut. You can see them doing it through their glass kitchen wall.

I'm not a fast food person, but I'd eat theirs.
