Those that bought above $1.10 above might just break even taking into acct CMPac issued bonus shares and those dividend shareholders got during those tiimes.

Any advice from vested forumers? Sh we accept the offer? If bought based on dividend, short term wise, the dividend is going get cut.

Well at least no one lost money on this s-chip. Even those bought above $1+ last year should still be in the green after this.

If the mkt opens with higher then $1.02, I will be off loading all my shares. If not then i will wait for the offer docs to come in and then sell it to them. Unlikely to command higher then the GO short term wise whether GO is successful or not. Probability of GO success is high(76% + SSH Liu Qiang 6% ) and don't expect them to up the GO price.

Pls DYODD.

First thing first, is to opt scrip dividend once readied. The pricing of the scrip isn't announced yet, right? It should be lower than the $1.02 offer price.

(vested, and hopefully I didn't miss the importance lately)

The scrip div is now dead as it would be preceded by this GO. They only asked for mandate to do scrip div with no commitment. so next div is after 1st half closing. the offer docs says future div is in the GO price. So this negates any div to be announced. You can expect it to be cut to make GO more attractive.

sorry I'm a bit confuse here. So if I accept the offer will I be receiving the dividend 0.035cts which has xd on 5th may and payable on 19th may? Or the offer price 1.02 already includes the may dividend and I won't be receiving them on 19th may?

Sad. There are now lesser and lesser good stock with good dividend.

My understanding is that GO price of 1.02 is excluding the 0.035 dividend which already xd on May 5, 2016.

This is correct. The May div is already in your bag. The 1.02 offer does not include that div. If the offer has not been concluded by 1st half results, then any future div is part of the 1.02.
